Thomas Gould is Senior Director, MEIA at FORREC, leading the firm’s regional practice in the design and strategic development of major leisure and tourism destinations across the Middle East and India. With more than 25 years of international experience, he has built a career spanning destination master planning, resort design, attraction planning, creative ideation, and strategic advisory. His work ranges from large-scale integrated resorts and nation-level tourism strategies to bespoke attraction concepts, water parks, snow parks, and theme parks.
Beyond the Middle East and India, Thomas’s portfolio includes ski resorts in Canada, Europe, and Japan, beachfront destinations across Southeast Asia and the Gulf, and projects that sensitively integrate tourism and leisure experiences within natural landscapes and dense urban environments. He is known for his ability to bridge design thinking and strategic decision-making, combining a deep understanding of guest behaviour with an appreciation for the economic, operational, and cultural factors that shape successful destinations.
