James is our visitor attractions enthusiast. His creative mind has been behind successful projects in the U.S., Asia and Europe, finding new ways to engage people. In his spare time, James obsesses about making our clients’ projects the most talked about hot ticket attractions going.
James knew he was going to be in attractions at eight years old, when a trip to Disneyland changed his life. He was likely the only child in his grade three class who asked for a drafting set for his birthday – and got one. James’ fascination for storytelling makes him our go-to person for creating must-see, must-do attractions. After completing an architecture degree at University of Toronto (1993), he joined FORREC, and has been a creative director for almost 20 years. For the past four years, he’s been the lead creative director, running the team and overseeing all design direction. Now his thoughtful manner and creative eye ensure that every visitor attraction designed by FORREC is an irresistible magnet for guests and a financial win for clients. Many international clients, including LEGO, Nickelodeon, Hasbro and Universal, have trusted him to translate their iconic brands into successful projects.
