Center Parcs Domaine des Trois Forêts

The Center Parcs brand is beloved throughout southern Europe, and FORREC has been part of the creative team for four resort parks. When it came time to master plan Center Parcs Domaine des Trois Forêts in Moselle, France, we blurred the lines between indoors and out, creating a full sensory guest experience in three thematic environments. We helped our client create the next generation of water parks with wet and dry play focus.

Our design was inspired by the lushness of tropical forests and coasts, creating an island destination feel with natural materials, plantings, sounds and aromas to enhance the effect. The mostly indoor water park includes lagoons, slides and an indoor/outdoor lazy river as well as facades that open up for natural ventilation.

In 2010, Center Parcs Domaine des Trois Forêts received a World Waterpark Association (WWA) Award for Waterpark Industry Innovation.
