FORREC’s creativity within lifestyle communities has shown no bounds. The plan for St. Elizabeth Village in Hamilton, Ontario came from our client’s vision to create an active living resort-style community for Canadians aged 55-plus. FORREC’s design for this 114-acre site reflected the warmth, charm and vibrancy of small-town Ontario. The master plan revitalized the existing residential inventory and added over 3,000 new residences. We wanted to create a place where residents, friends and outside guests enjoyed exciting amenities, commercial opportunities and entertainment experiences in an atmosphere that was youthfully vibrant. Bringing a resort-like feel to the site did precisely that.
