Vila da Galinha Pintadinha at Beto Carrero World

Vila da Galinha Pintadinha is a new 3,000 sq.m. themed land at Beto Carrero World. This playful and colourful new land brings the beloved Brazilian character Galinha Pintadinha (aka “Lottie Dottie Chicken”) and her friends into an immersive destination created especially for young children and their families.

Beto Carrero World, recognized as both the largest and the best theme park in Latin America, developed the new attraction in partnership with Bromelia Produções, the company behind the Galinha Pintadinha brand. This opening marks a significant new addition to the park’s family offering and comes as Galinha Pintadinha celebrates 20 years as one of Brazil’s best-known children’s entertainment brands.

FORREC delivered concept and schematic design across architecture, interiors, landscape architecture, signage, creative design and show set design, establishing the physical and experiential framework for the land, translating the familiar visual language and storytelling of Galinha Pintadinha into a destination that can be explored, played in, experienced and enjoyed by all ages.

The new land features a variety of experiences, including the Galinheiro das Divas flying round ride, live entertainment at the central barn stage, character encounters and meet & greets, themed environments, recreation areas, a dedicated retail location and food offerings. The Galinheiro das Divas attraction was manufactured by Zamperla Group, bringing another layer of interactive entertainment to the land.

The project’s entertainment and show development was led by Hasbas, with Creative Directors Sylvia Hase and Steve Bass overseeing the development of the shows, show area and music production.

The result is a cohesive, immersive environment where architecture, landscape, interiors, graphics, rides, visual storytelling and live entertainment all work together to create a destination specially tailored to the youngest members of the Beto Carrero World audience.

It is uncommon for a team to participate all the way from concept to construction, and rarer still for the end result to be even better than we imagined.”

The new Vila da Galinha Pintadinha forms part of Beto Carrero World’s ongoing expansion and investment in new experiences for its guests. The land represents a dedicated destination for early-childhood audiences within the park, combining attractions, entertainment, storytelling and themed environments in a single immersive setting.
