Xiangjiang Joy City - Happy Snowy Area

Changsha, China

Happy Snowy Area is an indoor snow park in Xiangjiang Joy City in Changsha, China which features a water park as well. Originally an abandoned rock quarry, FORREC utilized the site’s natural curvature to create exciting ski slopes and attractions within.

Ranked as the sixth largest indoor snow centre in the world, guests descend this six-story complex while exploring a variety of snow, ice and play activities, in spaces that thematically transform
from modern Swiss to traditional Alpine village architecture, all enclosed within an iconic, 92,000m2 building suspended over the deep pit.
