FORREC brought our expertise to the Niagara Parks Power Station project with a concept master plan and interpretive consultation/ layout that focused on creating new life at an historic facility. Using the stories of the birth of hydroelectric power, we aimed to present those narratives from beyond the doors of the facility in the surrounding landscape, continue them through both the day and night experiences of the attraction, and back out to a new and different vantage point over the Falls through the Tailrace Tunnel deep beneath the structure.
